
The second sales phase for the FIFA World Cup 2010 has commenced today, 4th May 2009. Ticket applications submitted during the second phase will be on a first come first served basis. About 100 000 tickets will be made available to interested parties. Applications can be made through the FIFA website or at South Africa own First National Bank (FNB) branch.
Each applicant can apply for up to four tickets per match and up to seven matches in total. Ticket prices start at US$20 (R140).
Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application within 10 working days, and tickets will be available for collection from Fifa’s venue ticketing centres from April 2010 onwards.
The second stage of World Cup 2010 ticketing will be on till 16th November 2009.
