Looks like the online ticket bidding for the first round of World Cup 2010 tickets allocation has garnered a decent response. FIFA has received 506 000 online ticket bids from 140 countries since the tickets were up for sale on 20th Feb 2009.
15% of the 3 million tickets will cost only $20 and these low-priced tickets are reserved for South African residents. A random draw will be conducted on 15th April 2009 to determine the lucky winners of the first of the several phases.
Good luck to you!
